Welcome to our first adventure post on the blog. My goal is to share photos and stories from the different adventures that we go on throughout the year. To start off I thought I would share some of my favorite photos that I have taken over the last several years.
Antelope Canyon (left) near Page, Arizona is definitely a must visit place. Pay a little extra money to go on the photography tour so that you have more time to enjoy the canyon. We used the Antelope Canyon Navajo Tours and they did an amazing job. The photo at the top right was one of the most beautiful sunrises I have ever seen and was taken at Ramsey Farm near Nicholasville, Kentucky. Last but not least is a photo of the Watchman Mountains and the Virgin River in Zion National Park in Utah. I wish we had planned to spend more time at this amazing place.
Both of these photos were taken along the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina. Several years ago we drove the entire parkway through North Carolina in the fall and it was absolutely unbelievable. The sheer amount of fall color, took my breath away. Best of the Blue Ridge Parkway by Nye Simmons was a great resource to guide our journey and not miss out on key stops.
Spectacular horse country located in and around Lexington, Kentucky the horse capitol of the world. If you are visiting Lexington, make sure to stay at the Eighth Pole Inn for a personal encounter with horses located down the road from famous Keeneland Racecourse.
The waterfall on the left is located in the Grand Canyon on the Havasupai Indian Reservation in Arizona. You must add this destination to your bucket list. Spectacular oasis in the middle on the grand canyon. Although it is a ten mile hike to the campground it is totally worth it. You will not be disappointed by all of the waterfalls and canyon walls. The arch on the top right is known as landscape arch and is located at Arches National Park in Utah. This National Park is by far one of the strangest and is totally worth the visit. Make sure to go on the primitive hike that goes beyond Landscape Arch. The photo in the bottom left was taken at Zion National Park in Utah. This hike is known as the narrows and is must do if you can brave the cold water. Just some neat wild life photos that I have taken over the years in Kentucky. The lizard photo is the only one not taken in Kentucky. This photo was taken on our honeymoom to St. Thomas & St. John.
Our dream is photograph weddings in beautiful locations like these. We are willing to travel anywhere your dream wedding might be.
